Seth Mennie
– Owner - ISA Certified Arborist, Tree Risk Assessment Qualification certified, Wildlife & Danger Tree Assessor
Seth started the Monkey Tree Services in 2001. Since then his vision and leadership has helped create one of the highest quality and most reliable tree care companies in the local market.
Scott Weatherill
– Lead Estimator, Crew Foreman - ISA Certified Arborist, Tree Risk Assessment Qualification certified
Scott started with Monkey Tree Services Ltd in 2007. His dedication has lead him become a Certified Arborist including his Tree Risk Assessment Qualification. He splits his time between the crew and tree maintenance division with our consulting department.
Ruth Michaels
– Administrative Manager - ISA Certified Arborist, Tree Risk Assessment Qualification pending
Ruth came to the organization in 2016. Her passion for the natural environment facilitated her interest and led her to achieve her Certified Arborist ticket. Ruth manages the complex administrative responsibilities and processes.
Dave Klein
– Lead consultant - ISA Certified Arborist, Tree Risk Assessment Qualification certified
Dave has been in arboriculture since 2000. His time in the Vancouver Parks Board established his knowledge base that he has built on and continues to build on working with Monkey Tree Services.
Joel Campeau
– Sub-foreman, Estimator. ISA Certified Arborist, Tree Risk Assessment Qualification pending
Joel felt the calling of the tree world in 2014. He is a certified arborist and is working towards his Tree Risk Assessment Qualification. Client care is his specialty!
Jan Jenkin
– Lead Climber ISA Certified Arborist, Tree Risk Assessment Qualification Certified
Jan hails from the UK and has been with the operations for 3 years. Jan Completed his ISA Certified Arborist ticket and his Tree Risk Assessment Qualification. He has an exceptional eye for perfection in pruning.
Laurel Barton
– Administrative Assistant - Apprentice Arborist
Laurel joined us in the summer of 2019 as an administrative assistant. Laurel is an asset to our administrative process and allows us to address the work demands with ease. She is working towards her CA and has a wealth of plant and tree knowledge.
